Our Mission To serve our Lord Jesus Christ; by nurturing our members through programs which support the development of our children and youth, the maturation of the Adults, and the care of the Senior Adults; by reaching out to the unsaved in our community through various projects and evangelism; and by partnering in local and Southern Baptist Missions and other worthy ministries to reach the world for Christ.

Welcome
Originally founded in 1928, the Stanardsville Baptist Church has been part of the culture of Greene County for over 75 years. In that time the church has been expanded twice and is currently planning to add on once again. With a vibrant youth program, Sunday schools for all ages, Bible studies, game nights, and a new Contemporary worship service, there are programs for every member of the family. We support our community with programs such as the Food Pantry, Royal Ambassadors, GRACE and one of the area's largest Vacation Bible Schools (VBS). In addition, our WMU (Women on Missions United) group has been sending missionaries to other parts of the world since the church was founded. Please take a minute to look around these pages at some of the other things our energetic church is up to.
